Enhance your body’s chemistry with gourmet super foods.
What are Super Foods?
Super foods are naturally occurring foods with high concentrations of nutrients… enzymes… amino acids… and other compounds to protect and repair damage to your cells.
Many of these superfoods have been used for thousands of years in ancient cultures around the world. Superfoods are natural, living, plant-based foods that do extremely wonderful things for our body when we consume these super foods in a regular super foods diet.
Some super foods — like cacao, vanilla or even bee pollen — have sexual superpowers.
My Five Favorite Super foods:
CHILI PEPPERS the super hot super food contain high levels of capsaicin, a chemical known to help with blood circulation. Chili peppers can also trigger endorphins, the feel good chemicals produced by your brain. Believe it or not, peppers contain twice the amount of vitamin C that is found in notable fruits such as oranges and grapefruits. Getting the important dose of vitamins can really boost your immune systems and increase your energy and endurance when it comes to exercising. It can really keep your joints and muscles operating in tip top shape. The more fluidly your muscles and joints work, the easier it will be for you to exercise for longer periods and shed extra pounds.
BEE POLLEN is wild crafted by bee populations all over the world. The little golden nuggets that result are an extreme source of super nourishment, containing all required nutrients and over 5,000 enzymes. Bee pollen has been known since biblical times for its healing properties. It has also been found in Chinese and Egyptian texts, which document its rejuvenating effects on the body and mind.
It’s a complete food, raved about by Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine, and by modern researchers for it’s ability to heal the body, enhance vitality, and increase energy levels. A natural aphrodisiac, bee pollen safely increases libido and energizes the body without increasing their heart rate or thinning the blood. Many male consumers report a noticeable increase in sexual endurance and stamina.
CACAO (Theobroma cacao) means “Food of the Gods” a super food that the Aztecs regarded as a sacred plant, and they valued cocoa beans as currency. Many people consider eating chocolate a guilty pleasure. But chocolate is made from cacao (cocoa) beans, which in their natural, unprocessed, unadulterated state are rich in nutrients and are beneficial to health. Cacao is the highest whole food source of magnesium, which also happens to be the most deficient mineral in the diet of modern cultures. Magnesium relaxes muscles, improves peristalsis in the bowels and relaxes the heart and cardiovascular system. The dark chocolate antioxidants have been clinically proven to literally dissolve plaque built up in the arteries which helps in reversing heart disease and causes naturally lower blood pressure. Also, various other vitamins and minerals in raw cacao benefits the cardiovascular system.
“After water, cocoa is the single healthiest substance you can put in your mouth. It can easily replace a number of psychiatric drugs for mood, plus it produces the same chemistry in the brain that occurs when we fall in love.” – Chris Kilham
VANILLA is the genus name of a group of tropical vines that are in the orchid family and grow in the Americas. A most flavourful super food, the word vanilla comes from the Spanish vaina and refers to the shape of the plants’ seedpods. The seedpods have been used for flavouring food for many years: in pre-Columbian times, Aztecs employed it in making chocolate. Health advantages of Vanilla include Anti Oxidant, Aphrodisiac, Anti Carcinogenic, Anti Depressant, Sedative and Tranquilizing benefits. The medical literature today is awash with studies that highlight the effectiveness of Vanilla Beans in fighting the effects of oxidation. In fact by using Vanilla Pods you can lower your cholesterol, fight infections and even reduce your risk to cancer and heart disease.
MOLASSES the sweetest super food is the by-product of sugar refining. It contains all the minerals, vitamins and trace elements lost in the refining process that makes sugar such an empty food. A tablespoon of blackstrap molasses contains as much calcium as a glass of milk, as much iron as ten small eggs, more potassium than virtually any other food, and a whole host of B vitamins and vitamin E. It’s also rich in magnesium and copper. Your skin and hair will love it, and women who are anaemic will greatly benefit. It’s a great pickup when you’ve been working too hard and need extra nutritional support.
Warning, side effects may include:
- Feeling really good all of the time
- Accessing higher thoughts effortlessly
- Vibrating from a place of peace and well being everyday
- Manifesting your desires with ease
- Clarity of mind and focused intentions
- A strong healthy immune system
- Looking and feeling years younger
These super foods are absolutely amazing and have helped cultures for thousands of years avoid famine and disease. Kings and Queens would go to war to get more of these super foods. For instance, it has been said that Alexander the great was persuaded by Aristotle to invade Egypt for the Aloe Vera plant so he could use it on his injured soldiers.
Certainly super foods definitely pack a stronger punch of valuable nutrients that help fight off diseases and improve overall health in a host of ways, dietary experts advocate.
